The OptiMate DC‑DUO TM‑500 V3 is a versatile DC-to-DC battery charger and maintainer designed to operate without the need for AC power. It draws energy from a donor 12V battery—such as from a car, auxiliary battery, or DC power source—to charge and maintain 12V lead-acid and 12.8V–13.2V LiFePO₄ (4-cell) batteries. Ideal for off-grid, mobile, or remote applications, it ensures safe battery management anywhere.

This unit features a smart 6-step charging program that can recover deeply discharged batteries from as low as 2V, activate lithium BMS protection circuits, and apply precision charging. It includes automatic source protection, shutting off if the donor battery voltage drops too low (around 10V) to avoid depletion. Once the battery is fully charged, it switches into a low-draw maintenance mode with alternating charge and rest cycles to preserve battery health over time.

The device operates reliably in a wide temperature range, is fully sealed with an IP54 weatherproof rating, and requires no AC power. It's suitable for motorcycles, dual-battery vehicles, trailers, and field equipment where grid access is limited.
