The OptiMate 6 Ampmatic is a premium, fully automatic 12V charger and maintainer designed for lead-acid batteries, including standard (STD), AGM, GEL, and EFB types. It is ideal for motorcycles, cars, boats, RVs, tractors, and deep-cycle systems, offering comprehensive battery care from recovery and charging to long-term maintenance without user supervision.

With advanced Ampmatic technology, the OptiMate 6 automatically adjusts its charging current up to 6 amps, based on the battery’s size and condition. This ensures optimal charging for batteries ranging from 3Ah to 240Ah. It can recover deeply discharged batteries from as low as 0.5V and features a two-stage desulfation program to restore battery performance.

Its 9-step charging program includes recovery, bulk charging, absorption, optimization, testing, and long-term maintenance. During the maintenance phase, it delivers periodic float-charge and test pulses to keep the battery at full capacity without overcharging.

Temperature-compensated charging automatically adjusts voltage in cold or hot environments to extend battery life and ensure safety. The unit is fully sealed and weatherproof, operating reliably in extreme temperatures from –40°C to +40°C. It also draws less than 0.5 watts in standby mode, making it energy efficient.
