The OptiMate 5 Start‑Stop is a fully automatic professional-grade charger and maintainer tailored for 12 V lead‑acid batteries in start‑stop vehicles, including AGM, EFB, GEL, and standard types. Designed for motorcycles, cars, vans, and small industrial equipment, it delivers intelligent, safe, and efficient battery care in all conditions.

This advanced charger features an intelligent 8‑step recovery and maintenance program. It can revive discharged batteries from as low as 2 V, desulfate, bulk charge, perform absorption, and optimize charge. Once charged, it enters adaptive maintenance mode, alternating between charge and rest to maintain battery health. It includes a dedicated Start‑Stop reconditioning mode to condition the battery for the frequent start‑stop cycles common in modern vehicles.

Operating with a constant 0.8 A charge current, the unit automatically adjusts to ambient temperature to protect battery longevity. Its rugged, weather-resistant housing ensures reliable performance in workshops, garages, or outdoor areas. Safety features include spark suppression, reverse polarity protection, and automatic shut‑off upon fault or disconnection.
