The OptiMate 3 x 2 (2020 edition) is a compact, fully automatic 12 V battery charger and maintainer crafted for dual-battery setups commonly found in motorcycles, ATVs, lawn gear, and light vehicles. It is compatible with all 12 V lead-acid battery types—flooded, AGM, GEL, spiral, and EFB—and is designed for optimum performance across batteries from 2 Ah to 50 Ah.

Built on trusted OptiMate technology, the unit features a smart 7‑step charging program that includes low-voltage recovery (from as low as 2 V), desulfation, bulk charging, optimization, testing, and switchable float maintenance. Dual outputs allow simultaneous connection to two separate batteries, ensuring both receive consistent, maintenance-level charging without overcharge. When one battery reaches full charge, it continues to support the second until both are balanced and ready.

Ultra-durable with an IP54-rated weatherproof enclosure, the charger is ideal for indoor or outdoor use in a wide temperature range from –40 °C to +40 °C. It automatically adapts to environmental conditions, reducing standby drain to under 0.5 W and providing spark suppression, reverse polarity protection, and automatic shut-off on fault or disconnection.
