Why Switch from Lead-Acid (or Cheap Imports)?
| Feature | KATBATT 36V Lithium (105Ah) | Lead-Acid Pack | Cheap Imports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Runtime | Up to 2× longer | Short & fades quickly | Often overstated |
| Power on Hills | ≈250A BMS — confident climbs | Voltage sag | Lower BMS (≈200A), trips easier |
| Maintenance | None | Watering/acid/corrosion | Variable quality |
| Support | Local SA warranty & service | Limited | Overseas/none |
Lithium Care Tip
Avoid storing the pack empty. A battery left completely flat for too long can be damaged more easily than one stored charged. For longer storage, keep it around 50–80% SOC. The included charger’s recovery mode can safely “wake” a flat/switched-off pack when needed.
